In the motor tuning, under steps per unit, switch the X number with the Y. If they are truly reversed.

Steps per unit = # of steps per motor revolution, usually 200, times # of turns per inch of the leadscrew, times the microstepping amount (if any). If 1/8 microstepping, multiply by 8, for example.

Thanks ger..

What are the common 3\8 inch sizes?? We seem to have nailed it down to 10 threads on the x (.1) and 8 threads on the Y (.125) So I was taking 200 devided by the pitch and entering in that number.. for the motor tuning part of the config... Yes/No.

Yes, 2000 for the 10 thread screw. If your drives use microstepping, also multiply by that. If using Geckos with 1/10 steps, multiply by 10. If Xylotex and 1/8 steps, multiply by 8.....

We are running now!!!

All lead screws working fine.. Thanks to Ger.. One last question!!! How do you get the offsets to stay in the register when you turn off the machine??

I have noticed it is blank at the on set of firing up the software..
