Here is another vendor with a CNC retrofit kit for the X3

http://www.cnckits.com.au/index.html

Probably won't be of much interest to our US friends as they are in Australia.

The site IMHO is a bit light on details re Ballscrews, nuts, bearings and controller. At least for CNCzone members
who have the advantage of being clued up about the components, options and what is important in a CNC conversion.

No doubt more details could be gained by asking

I have no connection to this company. Just found the website.

Interesting, it seems that they chose to drive all 3 axis with belts as opposed to coupling the steppers directly to the screws.

...and they mounted the X axis stepper on the left side -- as you know, the Aussies, like the Brits, drive on the "other" side of the street :p

It is good to have options :)

CNCkits has put up some video. Worth a look.

Lots of info on his site. This kit looks pretty good.
