patrick71100,

Joakim is programming something in relation to 4th axis now. I don't know what all is going to be covered in it. The other items you would need to email him directly.

Thanks Termite,
I Juess We Dont Need Arc Fitting With Modern Control I Ran Demo Program
At 300ipm With Madcam(i Use Mach3,g-rex,rutex On My Kneemill)it Held About 250ipm Average With Some Accel And Decell Continous Contouring 1st Rough 3 Axis It Puts Out Some Nice Paths

Patrick do me a favor. When testing Madcam compare it to other cams you may have used in the past and see if the files are smaller? Mine seem to be.

Termite,
In The Future I Will I Think You Are Right The Madcam Programs I Noticed Watching Graphics They Seem To Have Minimal Rapids {stay In Stock More-especially With Roughing Using Rectangle Option}i Also Noticed Paths Are Usually Output To 3 Decimal Points Powermill And Visualmill Seemed To Be
4 Decimal Points My Mach3 Didnt Like Visualmill Programs It Would Output
2 Lines Of Identical Information And Mach Would Flash Errors And I Would Have To Manually Edit[ie N005x2y3 N006x2y3]and That Was A Lot Of Work ,what Control Are You Running?
Thanks Patrick

I run Mach2 but am about to move to Mach3. I have just a few more tests to run and then to actually run a part test.

I wasn't talking about the decimal position but the actual # on lines output. I have several gcode files made in Mastercam, tons made in Bobcad 17 and a few now in Madcam. I have actually duplicated some of the programs in Mastercam using Madcam and it seems the same part on a 4 index 4th axis program is considerably shorter in the # on lines than the Mastercam programs. I was just curious if you had noticed that? You comment about more time in the part seems to indicate that as well.
