Just picked up a Bridgeport Series 1 Rigid-Ram CNC mill. The old Boss 3 system has been replaced with a 10 year old Centroid CNC M400 mill controller. I got the machine with a couple of Erickson NMTB 30 quick change tool holders and not much else. It came with a manual dated 1978 that is just a maintenece manual and have not been able to find the answers to some of my questions. Does anyone know where I can find a users manual for this machine (if there is one)? Failing that, I will probably just come to you guys and ask my questions as needed.
Thanks

Thanks for the link. I did get part of the Centroid version 5.27 manual with my machine. I will print out this one and give it a read. I am still looking for a Bridgeport users manual if anyone knows where to get one I would appreciate your input.

I just bought an 1983 model same as yours and I was lucky enough to get all the manuals. I can scan what you need if you'd like. Sorry, but not the entire manual, it is huge. It also has a lot to do with the outdated cotrols your machine no longer has.

MrWild. Thanks for the offer. I had someone offer me a maintence manual and am taking them up on their offer. I was told this maintence manual was long on the wiring and electrics of the Boss control and did not have much on the actual machine itself. If you could scan some relevant pages as to basic machine operation (mostly looking for stuff like maintence periods, parts replacement schedules, etc.)
Thanks again for the offer.
