4 DC Motors w/Encoders CNC/Servo/Mill/Lathe qty=4 *NEW* Hathaway DC motors with high resolution Computer Optical Parts encoders.

Diameter: About 2"

Length: About 6.5" overall

Shaft: About 1.5" long

Hathaway Part Number: 9925093

Voltage: 24V DC

Computer Optical Products Encoder P/N: 101948-01

I can get 4 of them for $275.00 brand new. Would I have to go with Gecko drives to operate them? I don't want to spend that much money on driver boards. Aren't Gecko's more than $100 for each axis?

Thanks!

Darren

The size is close to my servo motors. The voltage is a bit lower but they sound like they could be somewhere between 300-450 oz/in peak motors.

Yes, it is expensive when you jump into servo power! Gecko drives G320 is about $114 each. But the speed and power is worth it to me.

Yes, you need to spend over $100 per axis to drive them. Gecko isn't the only solution, but it's the cheapest and works great!
