Is it heat treated? All important variables. PEACE:D turkgeltz 11-17-2003, 08:21 PM Actually I was using a cleveland 2flt coated ticn witha high helix to mill deep pocket up to 2" deep running a .050 ramp, 55ipm witha 7850rpm and it worked quuite well. When the tip would start to get dull the operator would touch it up on the grinder and keep going. Worked quite well. Then they discontinued the tool. Murphys law. Get one that works and poof. Now I'm looking for a replacement. hardmill 11-17-2003, 10:01 PM I'll look tommorrow and see if I can find you anything. Is your material heat treated? PEACE:D turkgeltz 11-17-2003, 10:12 PM no, not heat treated just gummy h13. I realize most people don't run them like this, but it worked really well. camminc 02-28-2004, 05:08 AM See: http://members.cox.net/camminc/MetalMAX Stability Chart H13.pdf turkgeltz 02-28-2004, 05:58 AM The link doesn't take me there? camminc 04-14-2004, 02:30 PM Sorry, I messed up.
