Has anyone ever fixed the power feed on a 2UVR? I bought my mill with a broken power feed. When I power the motor it buzzes really loud and nothing moves. Are the motor coils fried? I took off the motor cover and I can spin the motor with my hand. Also, all the levers seem to work so I doubt the gearbox is jammed.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Can you remove the motor and bench test it?
That TREE 2UVR is a beefy old machine, are you sure it's not a 220VAC 3-phase motor?
What does it say on the motor?
Also, if its the X-axis, you should be able to adapt one of the "SERVO" brand power feeds used on bridgeports!

When I bought my 2UVR it also had a "broken" power feed.
The first thing that I found is that some genius in plant maintenance had wired the dual voltage (220/440) motor for 440. The plant it came out of never had 440.
The second thing that I found was that there is a roll pin that had sheared in the drive.
As was mentioned above both the power feed and the main motor are 3 phase.

Sounds like you may have lost one phase going to the motor.I had this happen with my model 2VG. Turned out that mine was just a blown fuse in the control box.
