Hi all, this is my first post here. i am trying to design and build my first CNC MIll i ahve a good idea about how i would like to control the motion but i remember reading somwhere that it is a bad idea to have 2 stepper motors running one axis. my question is is it possible to wire 2 stepper motors together so they are sinked? and if there is hows it done and is it a bad idea?
i would most likly be using 2 for Y, 2 for z, and 1 for x

I would not wire them together, i would think you can loose power and torque, Im Mach3 you slave the motors/axis to make them run in uni-some.
