I have two isa legacy 4-axis control cards that i was planning to use with emc, but it will involve some effort porting drivers to emc. As the mesanet card is listed as supported i am tempted to use that.

Does anyone here use this card? Is it a good choice?

i have 4 pwm driven brushless dc drives, and would like to upgrade to 5 axis eventually, as well as have two analog channels for controlling hf spindle speeds.

Do you need to buy anything other then just the card?
I know i will need a pwm to analog converter for the spindle drives, but do i have to use the mesanet one?

do i need to purchase firmware for this card, or does emc provide this?
