Has anybody experimented with Stauff clamps as linear bearing housings?

They are a green 2 piece plastic clamp with a metal base and top. The base has 2 tapped holes.

I am using 2 on each side of each axis for a 3 axis machine.

Just wondering if anybody else is using the same.

There are aluminum clamps as well, think they are used for hydraulic systems.
