I'm looking for a "turnkey" milling system for small parts, and have been impressed with the prices and specs from this company.

http://www.microkinetics.com/

I intend to buy the extended model, with the Quick Step controller, and maybe even one of their computers as well, for the sake of having it all from one vendor.

Generally, I'll be machining parts from 3/16" to 3/4" brass, nickel silver, and aluminum, but also want to blank parts from annealed 1/8" and 3/16" 1095 steel. The nonferrous parts will be profiled, drilled, slotted, and have some simple curvature milled on their upper surfaces.

Anyone care to share opinions on this company and their products? I'll be looking to see if there are more appropriate and/or less costly products available somewhere else, and how good Microkinetics products and customer service are.

Thank you,
Tom
