I have a Harbor Freight 8x12 lathe. This is identical to the 8x14 sold by Lathemaster.com. Well, Lathemaster sells a quick-change toolpost for this lathe that consists of the complete cross-slide assembly. I'd order the darned thing, but they're out of stock with no idea when they'll get more. I wrote and they didn't answer me.

Anyway, I know that they don't make these, so the question is: who else sells them? There has to be at least a couple of other vendors that have this particular item. I like it because there's no milling or cutting involved - just take off the old crossslide and install this. I believe you have to swap the handle and screw, but that's no big deal.

So, does anybody know where I can get this?
