I have a reasonable shop. I need some work done around it.. Cleaning, arranging, organizing, helping put up some shelves..

In return I have... a shop..

This is IN chicago. I would be interested in people from the surrounding suburbs also... See the shop in all its cluttery glory...

See the shop (http://www.clockworkchicago.com/360.jpg)

Note: Large Photo! Also, the shop is in signifigantly better shape than photographed... This isnt a big professional shop.. However there is 2 drill presses, 2 table saws, a lathe, a enco knee-mill, a vacuum forming machine, and a very nice array of tooling, hand tools, sanders, shapers, grinders, bench grinders, etc...

good for a student who needs to make industrial design models(whati have been for the last 3-4 years)

I live in Barrington and would be interested, but I have so little experience with mahining I would probably be almost useless. I may be able to stop by sometime this summer to help out for a bit if that's OK, but I'm afraid I need a job that pays as I'm saving for college which starts in August. Where in Chicago is it? (you can pm me if you'd like)

Well. I am 26, and dont make much money off my shop - however, I do have some shop-clean-up tasks and organiztion projects that I need help with - building a material storage system of some kind and organizing the machine tools.. It would be mostly wood working.. I could do something like $8/cash/hour(not as bad as it seems, considering taxes are ~30%) for around 2 days work, and then also a nice chunk of time to use the shop for your projects if you have a need.. besides, I am rather friendly, and enjoy helping fellow tinkerers.

The pay off to you (besides some small spending money) would probably be learnign quite alot and having a lathe\mill\table saw\drill press\tube benders\etc at your disposal. Ive got some obscure stuff, and some obscure knowledge. Plus I am throwing quite a bit of 'stuff' away(right now, currently, actually) You may want some of it!

When might you have some time? Right now I have an immediate need for aday or 3 of labor. Otherwise

Robert
