I plan on purchasing the X3 in a week or so and I have some basic questions after converted to cnc and powered with mach 2 or 3. When jogging the table around and I press the right arrow, do you want the table to move right or do you want the table to move left, which would create the effect that the spindle is moving to the right? Same question for the y and z axis

I set all my machines up so the right and up arrows move the axis in the positve direction on the part. When you're moveing a table instead of the spindle, the table actually moves in the negative direction.

so what you are saying is that it should be opposite then because the table is moving instead of the spindle. (i.e push right arrow, table moves left so that if the origin is in the lower left corner of the part, it will actually cut in the positive x direction)
