I am looking for information on Forging Titanium connecting rods..... for a V-8 style configuration, Racing Motor.

If someone could please respond, I need info on the process and if I can start out with a casting .

-Also looking for a Forge shop that could deal with me on the basis of producing the part, from my Forging Die / Castings...

I'm not shure how much of this is still done in the U.S.A, most of the parts sold today are from overseas.

I'm located in Central Oregon.

Thanks, - Joe

I know they make closed die forgins of titanium for connecting rods, you would have to contact them for more info.

Arcturas in Oxnard Ca.I'm sure it would pretty expensive for dies. You'd have to run alot of parts to justify the cost.
