I was down stairs cleaning up my work shop. I piled up my failed attemps at building a CNC router. 12 weekends worth of work.
If it were not for this site, I am not sure I would have kept going.
I read the "silly questions" that I was afraid to ask. Viewed other peoples pictures and read about their successes.
I just want to say thank you.

dude, you're not giving up on that last one are you?
It looks like you're ready to wire up the motors and start moving it?

Whirlybomber,
I am keeping that one. I am in the process of putting together my CNChobby kit, then install my limit switches and couplers, then start spinning.

And from a burning pile of junk, the CNC Phoenix arose. Taking 3-axis, rollerbearing flight. Don't give up, don't give in.
By the way, how do you like the moving table? Mine is a moving table on U-channel instead of gas pipe. I think the whole machine is a lot stronger since I don't have to push a big gantry around.

My current machine uses a moving table because it was easier to build. But it does make the machine very sturdy.
