THAT sounds like a "blank Check!" You'll probably get loads of help spending your money!
At the "machine end" I like Mach2 - good softare, great support and EXCELLENT Value! Thats what you use to tell the router where to go and how fast.
What are you interested in making? Any experience with design programs, ie CAD?
Welcome aboard.
 Jim

I would have to say no that I have had no experence in using anytype of cad software. I am looking to use the cnc router to help speed up my business. I build equipment for aquarium reef tanks. Right now I am making everything by hand and it is time consuming. To make my circles and in grove inlays I am using a jasper circle jig. What a pain in the butt.

Benny - aka "ynneb" here on the ccnzone has done some aquarium work too. He used his cnc - maybe a good guy to send a note to, or just wait a bit he may drop and add some info.

Reeftoker, I used to cut wall aquariums, but since the company I cut them for has gone out of bussiness i will try and find the cutting files I made for them.

You will need a CNC router for starters :)
You will need a program like Mach3 to operate and load your designs into. http://www.artofcnc.ca/DownLoads.htm only 160 bucks
You will need a basic CAD software free on the net if you look around.

You could almost get away without any CAD or Cam software if you use the wizards that come free with Mach3.

EDIT: Here is a page with a choice of free or semi free CAD applications
