HI all
Just like to know if any one is running ANILAM on there machines? In the short time I have been on this forum no one mentions ANILAM, am I alone?
I run ANILAM 6000M on the mill and 4200T on the lathe all day every day, so far no problems, just my 2cents :) this forum is great heaps of info, keep up the good work.

Hello Beaker,
Most companies I have been associatted with use the Anilam controls on CNC Assist Style Machinery. The 1100Commando and the 3000M being the most often used. Excellent control for programming on the "fly". DXF-Gcode coversion right at the control. Very low industry mean failure rate.
Very popular on the east coast in "job shop" style environments where the machinist IS the programmer!
Hope you enjoy this forum!

I purchased a 12-year-old Eagle 400 with Anilam 1400 control on it, last July. Works great. Working toward adding a rotary axis to it.

I am looking for more information on the anilam 3300m. Just purchased a Chevalier knee with a 3 axis anilam control system. I have been researchign information on the net on any information about where a mouse and keyboard is used to help configure certain DXF files. I have had no luck on where to attach the mouse as there is only a keyboard plug in the back for the extra keyboard input. Any ideas!!???
Thanks,
George

Well, I sure am enjoying it. Cleaned up well, trams super-straight, and spindle bearings even in good shape. :)

when anilam got out of the machine part and whent to just makeing controls they laid off a lot of the people in the machine side so they started up a company called american eagle they did a great job makeing the 400 they had a 300 also but they wer a bit lite duty american eagle only lasted 3 or 4 years but they sold a lot of 400`s well good luck and enjoy it it will serve you well :)
