Anyone have any suggestions for a good utility. I dont like the one that comes with FeatureCam, plus I cant get it work with any machine. Hyperterminal only seems to work with my newer controllers, but wont communicate with my older ones. (Fanuc 6ta). I was using the utility on shoptalk and downloaded to all the machines just fine. I used the same settings for Hyperterminal and it alarms out. I had to phase out shop talk completly because it had problems with the network. I need to be able to download.

EZCAM has a utility that works well, as it actually is the predessor to FeatureCam. I am not sure if it is something you can download, but will check for you.

www.cadem.com has a good free utility. It is only good for 1 machine, but at least you can try it. I have used their products before and they are exceptional.
