Thanks to those who posted on my previous question (I would love more suggestions if they are out there)
I have a question re: what is the bearing or bushing or ???? called that rests between the stainless rod and the aluminum when creating a z-axis (you know, the 2 rods on either side of the lead screw). I have accompanied a diagram to illustrate my question. I know it has to be a bearing or self lubricating slide of some sort. I just don't know what is is called so I don't know how to order them

Almost there

Hello

I believe that you are looking for linear bearings. They are available in many different styles and price ranges.

Check ebay for these as I got some bargains about 2 months ago. $20 for 4x25mm linear bearing bushings. They got lots of sizes too.:D
