I'm controlling a Motionmaster 5 axis router with a Fagor 8050. We had a custom postprocesser made up for MC 9.1 which worked fine until I switched from MS NT to XP pro. Now when I run the postprocesser I get 3 axis G-code and an error message; "Warning; unsupported function call-Recompile with new _*.h files, link with new m_*.obj files" I've looked at the post files and they all seem to be there. So far I've been able to rewrite the code, but it's out of hand. Can anybody give me a clue as to what's up?

Have tried running the v9 update utility in MS XP for your post yet, make sure you backup all your posts before doing so, then run the update.

Hello
One issue with XP is that it can emulate other OS. The normal method is to create a short-cut on your desktop, highlight and right click the shortcut, then 'Properties' and select another OS.
This has certainly worked for W98 programs that refused to run under XP.

Let my "subscription" with Mastercam run out about two years ago- big mistake! Am trying to get reestablished now. I forgot that very little of this stuff is backward compatible. Unfortunately MC does not seem to have much interest in supporting V9. Thanks for the interest.
did you use the runold chook? and update the post?

This problem happens when you use an old version of MP postprocessor dinamic library. Which version of MC 9.1 are you using exactly? MC 9.1 / 9.1 SP1 / 9.1 SP2? the problem is not related with "runold" update utility.
Give me an answer about that ,maybe I can help you.
