Hi all, I'm new here

and I hope I am on right place :-) I can't configure EdgeCAM 10 to generate code for Hurco VMX1 (Basic level of NC code). Does anyone have a postprocessor that is able to create NC code for VMX1 or any advice how to set up EdgeCAM's post processor?

Many thanks for any help!

Ales

P.S. forgive me for my english :-)

Use you code wizard, you can find some examples that come with it.
It's not that bad to change values, if you have a dealer that you bought the software from he should hook you up.

Good luck.

Thank you for replies. I have no example of working g-code still, because I have CNC machine for few days only. But I probably found mistake, it was in using compensations - I didn't know that machine compensation (G41) doesn't need to use. I use compensation by pathtrace and now I can meanwhile work until I obtain regular postprocessor from EdgeCAM dealer.

No problem, you will find that using centre line with comp a great feature, it allows you to go into rads that are smaller the rad with out going into alarm.
