For this design, I need a single part created and shipped ASAP to ensure fit. Another 30-50 will be required immediately after the part is verified to fit.

Below, I've posted links to the 3D part model in four seperate formats.

Quick notes: Material will be aluminum. The tolerances must be kept as close as possible. The 4 small holes on the model will need to be threaded for 3mm hex cap bolts. The holes are roughly 6 degrees off center. If the dimensions did not save correctly in any of the files, the part is 42mm in diameter for reference. A more traditional blueprint is available upon request.

Links to file (in various formats):
DXF - 3,247kb (http://www.goldammo.com/part/mCollar.dxf)
STL - 1,032kb (http://www.goldammo.com/part/mCollar.stl)
IGES - 461kb (http://www.goldammo.com/part/mCollar.igs)
IGES - 63kb (http://www.goldammo.com/part/mCollar.stp)

Upon finding a contractor to complete the parts, a final version of the file (in the contractor's preferred format) will be sent. In this case, a rapid production time is more important than part cost. My contact information is:

Tyler,
This is completely ambiguous, as the final fit, acceptable or not, would be entirely Dependant on the tolerances of the mating part.

If they are out of tolerances and do not fit then it would be our problem, if they are in tolerances and do not fit then that is your problem.

The same goes for ASAP, from who's perspective ???

What is needed here for both our benefits and to avoid hard feelings are some specific details.

Thank you
Ken

I apologize for being so unclear in my first post -- I was a little short on time earlier.

As for tolerances -- .030-.050mm would probably be acceptable, but the tolerances for the angles of holes would have to be within .5 degrees.

Concerning "ASAP", I literally mean as soon as possible. If someone can get it finished by the end of the week and shipped -- that would be ideal (however, unlikely). As for the 30-50 parts that would be needed afterwards, the time frame would probably be within 2 weeks.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Did you get anyone to make this part for you? If not, please email me and we can talk about it. I have time now so I could make them right away.
Thanks,
Neil
