I built a device using a diode laser, two steppers and two mirrors to make a laser show - using my experience building my own small-scale cnc-routers.
Now normally with milling, I run the program once and the bit navigates the path and the program ends real slow (using mach-2)
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with laser show scanneres (or dpss?), and wanted to know what software they use to control the steppers on their lasers?
Its basically a navigation system, that runs REALY fast and repeatative, to scan the dot into a polygon shape (that I can import from .dxf, or .hpgl from Corel draw).
Can anyone advise, or shoot me some links for hobby stuff like this for me to check out? Thanks.
