Mazatrol T+, QT-20
I need a way to increase the automatic blend radius when transitioning between two straight line moves.
e.g. If I call for a .05 x 45 deg. chamfer between a vertical X move to a horizontal Z move, I want a small radius (.005") to break the sharp edge at the beginning and end of the chamfer. This creates a cosmetically nice edge that is smooth to the touch.
I know I will be able to do it by defining the chamfer with the TPR function and then calling for a .005R at the beginning and end, But I am hoping to avoid this extra step.
Very easy to do in g-code but I am struggling with Mazatrol.
Is there a parameter that controls this?
Thanks for any help.
