Hi,

Im a student and Im working on my project. I designed some parts in ProE Wildfire. Im going to mill this parts on CNC (into one company). I need to prepare this parts for CNC milling. I defined parts tolerances and geometric tolerances. Is it necessary to define some other informations or its up to CNC worker?
Thanks for help.

Well....Mike, I suggest you draw another drawing in AutoCAD to detaily discribe your parts. I think regarding the tolerance, you better tell the CNC engineer how are you going to fit your part, and you better supply the part to be assembled to him so he will deliver the exact part that you want. Sufficient discussion is the most important part for the whole work

The cnc Machinist will make what your print ask for. With ISO there can be no deviation from your print without your knowledge, so if you don't either what phone calls or a bad part. Make sure your print is right. Can't tell you the # of times that someone said "that what the print said to do"
