I want to disable the parts catcher on my machine (quickturn 8N) during a part off operation, how do i go about doing it , or what parameters do i need to change.

parameter r52 bit 3.

R52 parameter is currently set as "0000100" i changed the 3rd bit so it read 0000110, nothing happened the parts catcher still came on. i then tried 0010100 still nothing, then changed it to 00000100 and i got a M code alarm.
Am i doing it right, or am i completly off the wall.

Try 0000 0000.

It's 1 for on, 0 for off AFAIK.
