Hello, I am a full time student who is new to machining and still really green. One of my classmates was given the job of retro fitting an Emco F1 CNC mill with servos. I was recently asked to help, and while I think I can learn a lot from this, I have no idea where to begin. I have a rough idea of where I want to go with this, but I was hoping I could get pointed in the right direction. I would really appreciate any help I could get with this, and any little detail would be a big help!
Thanks in advance.

Edit- I just realized I didn't really ask any thing specific! I was hoping to find a parts list or maybe a manual or something. This poor machine is pretty torn up so I'm not sure I can trust that I have every thing I need from the start.

Do a google for "CNC retrofit" or "CNC mill retrofit".

Do same with search engine on this site.

You'll find pages and pages of information either way.

There are serveral companies that supply bolt on kits for may table top drill/mills. If they don't bolt on, they are easily adaptable.
