Is there a way to zero the dials on the Industrial Hobbies mill? I fiddled with the dials tonight and did not appear be able to be zeroed. Is this correct or perhaps mine are rusted stuck?

Needed to grab the dial and the knurled bit and turn the dial. While pretty tight it did turn and was able to zero out. wildcat 11-17-2006, 06:53 PM FWIW - Here is what I did make zeroing the dials reasonable. The dial actually turns on an internal shaft with a small piece of spring metal creating resistance. Probably fine in most cases but mine turned so hard it was impossible to not loose zero thou zeroing the dial. Just had to disassemble, drill, and tap for the thumb screw. http://www.cnczone.com/gallery/data/500/medium/CRW_3657.jpg |
