Any pictures of things you have made ? Ah..... too many questions but one day I would like to do something similar. Cheers. Jason Marsha 01-03-2006, 07:16 PM Good work. All that remains now is to make something with the mill and post it. Jason CJL5585 01-03-2006, 07:16 PM Congratulations: I really do like your machine. It really looks great. It should be a lot of fun. Send us some photos of some of the things you make on it. Jerry jhwatts 01-03-2006, 07:36 PM The hardest part about building it was trying not to get in a hurry to get it done. I was dying to get it done but I was trying to make it right the first time. I haven't made any chips yet but I have plugged the controller into my pc in my house and jogged all three motors. I have completed all of the construction and wired every thing up except the pc. I am having a little trouble getting the software installed. Its funny I have it installed on my home pc and its works fine but my computer in my shop is a different story. It took me about 2 months to build it working on it when I could. mik32176 01-15-2006, 10:00 PM this might sound weird but I can only run my cnc machine on a fat 32 file system, other wise I cant get it working. I dont know if thats is relavant to your situation or not but FYI. jhwatts 01-15-2006, 10:39 PM I bought another computer. |
