Alrighty then :drowning:

I've gotten through cnc foam cutting easily enough, that has been up and running for a while. Now have a 3 axis router which is making my brain hurt.
I've gotten through being able to draw cad (not 3d) yet bit I will:-) Started with French software Ninos which is simple and easy to use. Enter a dxf, it converts g code, add your cut points or whatever and cut. The very best speed with this program is 3mm's per second! Watching this will bring tears to your eyes:-( I'm sure it is an excellent program but I can't configure any speed from it. The computer is an old P2-486. Figured that was the problem since the steppers are 2,000 microstep and it simply couldn't process info fast enough. Got a P4-1.7. Didn't help. Purchased software called Quickstep with the pulse pacer to gain some speed. Got that up and running (sort of) enough to find out I now have all the speed I want but I lost my automatic conversion, ease of use for an idiot function.
I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been 35 years since high school and I don't remember doing all that well even back then!
