for a BP series II Z axis drive? It would be an H series pulley (1/2"), but nobody makes a 13 tooth, I guess bridgeport had them made.

Try bptsrus on Ebay or maybe one of the race car drysump people weaver, stef's moroso ect. Would one off of a Boss6 work ?

I don't know when the z drive went from the knee to the head. I believe any mill that has the drive on the head uses the same 13 tooth pulley. I'll have to ask bptsrus if they have them.

I couldn't properly explain to bpartsrus which pulley I'm looking for. Did you have a lead on one off of a Boss6? Anyone have any idea where I can find this pulley?

I had the same problem with my series I. The Z axis motor and pulley were missing. I bought a 10 inch piece of 13 tooth stock and made my own pulley with the taper lock hub like the other axes. I think I still have part of the piece if you are interested in making your own pulley..

My Series I BOSS3 has the quill-mounted motor, but it uses a 26-tooth pulley...

Doh! I never thought of a 26 tooth pulley, wonder if it would fit. Larry, I definitely would be interested in the pulley material.

Thanks,
Eric

On edit, I looked at the mill. Clearly there was a 13 tooth pulley on there since the belt is slightly too tight with a 14 tooth. It's not clear that the belt would have clearance with the head for a 26 tooth pulley. Also, I've never figured out how to get that belt in there. Looks like you have to remove the spindle?

ViperTX, in the process of driving yourself crazy, did you find a 13 tooth pulley?

In a BOSS 6 book the Z motor pulley is part number 12770133. Call Hardinge or a Bridgeport dealer and see if one can be obtained.
