Sent my notoriously broken FMDC3 board to them yesterday for repair. Guy I talked to showed pity. Probably cant post the price he gave me but all I can say is he said "Hey..... its Christmas". Also said the guy who is going to repair it designed the V2XT back in the day. Could not be any better. I really like being treated so well from a company who doesn't owe me anything. Machine has been down for months. Cant wait to start reducing aluminum to chips again!

That must be Dave Cloud. He also had his hand (or rather brain) in the BOSS 8 and 9. Back then Bridgeport had a "control" plant in Horsham PA. There is a bunch of smart guys at EMI. But I agree that their pricing could be more favorable to the basement/hobby machinist.

Hi all,

Yesterday (October 1, 2007), Machinetek recommended EMI to repair the Logic Power Supply board in my Bridgeport. May I ask for the contact information for EMI?

Thank you,
Bill Gillen

I dealed with them a couple time, especially with Bart, very nice people and fast service. I recommend them to any Bridgeport machine owner. ;)

They are pricey but nothing conmes cheap when working on CNC's :(
