Hi

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make a 4th axis
as usual on a loow budget ym router has a 4th axis and the stepper is ready to be connected to something. Was thinking of direct drive but not sure the bearings will handle that ... any input would be helpful
Thanks
Ray

I've heard good things on the CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO list about the 4" rotary table available from Harbor Freight. Apparently, if adjusted properly, it's extremely accurate. Price is right too.

Shouldn't be too hard to adapt it to CNC.

boxwood if I can ever get my pc problems sorted out I have a Bobcad file of a 4th axis I drew and am having a friend make for me. Problem is he is slower than I am so I may be in trouble. I can send you a dxf if you want it. Now lets see I need a new spindle motor.....hmmmm!;)
