BJ,
Just thought I would tell you what I have found in the two. If you want the one that is the easiest to use and are not doing simultanoius 5th work, the one is OneCnc. Espirt is great software, for sure. But I would not want to start out on it if my shop bepended on it. You will have a simular knowlege base to work from, but Espirt is alot more indepth. Ihave used OneCnc for three years now it can do just about everything. The Expert version has 4th wrap and 5th positioning and is a really good software to learn. But if you want the power effect, Espirt is the best and it cost that way too. Sorry for the spelling. If you have any questions I will help as much as possible. I'm a little new to the forum, but I have been hru and are making the choice to change software now because I have a 7axis lathe and a 5th mill.
Hope that helps
