I found a place I can get mildly used or simply over-stock small (1/16 to 3/32) endmills and router cutters for about 2-3 bucks each. They cut, yes... and pretty well... The guy usually sell big drill bits, in the 2 to 6 inches, he just think I'm toying and he likes it so he's pretty collaborative.

Now, he also have quite a couple of these in 3/16 shank. I use 1/4 and 1/8 in my dewalt trimmer but cannot seem to find 3/16 sleeves. I might end-up running the drill in the spinning dremel on a 1/8" collet as to keep everything self aligned but that'd break my heart to scrap a 12$ part if I can find a commercial one.

I will use this tool a lot, so the deal on cutters is a real bargain but to fully enjoy the whole of it, gotta find or make that collet now.... I cannot seem to find those on mcmaster nor enco... Maybe I'm not looking for the right thing or you guys know a sure place to find them?

thanks

Not sure if this helps, but this link has replacement parts for nearly every power tool I have ever seen, including parts lists and diagrams!

There may be a collet to some other tool that will be interchangable!

Good luck,

I know what you’re talking about; I had the same problem finding reducers for my CNC Router. I finally called my friend (he has a Citizen swiss lathe) to turn some brass reducers for me. That did the trick!
