Hello,
Is the JGRO build good enough to engrave / cut 3mm thick aluminum panels?
I need to build something for the engraving of enclosures but i have 0 experience.
I wonder if this machine can handle it or maybe it's too powerfull?
1 thing is sure it's very big for the panels i wish to engrave / cut.
Regards,
Jeffry

A well built JGRO can engrave aluminium with no problems, you must however appreciate that the machine is constructed from MDF so you will have to cut more slowly than if the machine was one of metal construction.

So if one would build it from a marine grade Baltic Birch. could the cut rate be higher vs. MDF ?

I suspect the rate is about the same.
