I would like to build a small CNC router for projects and fun. Is there anyone out there that could act as my online tutor to help me through the process?

I want to be frugal....but not cheap. I want my unit to be of good quality. I am just as interested in the process of building as I am running the thing when I'm done.

Thanks for your consideration

There's a ton of people here that will help you out. Just start asking questions in the DIY wood router section.

I'd be glad to help.
3 years experience with diy-cnc.
Just finalising a huge scratch-built cnc mill with bridgeport spindle.
Email hanermo@amorco.com or hvenermo@yahoo.com

I can guide you in all aspects, from parts, pieces, where-to-buy, what to pay, make some kit parts for you if needed, electronics, breakout boards, psu, etc.
I'm know writing a book on home-shop cnc and will make my living from it. All I ask is references - I need a few good references for my kit parts business, so I willl make sure everyone is very satisfied.

Where are you ?
What size ? What do you want to cut ?

Best Hannu

Dear Sir,
I have a problem with my CNC Mini Router, Model RMS-3030
We have a problem to run the above machine which we purchased recently.
Problem:-
1. In our computer the program is running and do their cutting work BUT the X, Y, and Z axis in the CNC machine are not moving at all.
2. We realise that the light above the emergency STOP Button already blink when we on the power switch.
3.Are the computer not coomunicating with the controller?

Please use my company e-mail for these prob.
