Hi,

Could one of you post guru's tell me why only the first tool change works with this post? If I change to another tool in the job, the post doesn't insert the G06

What happens is, I specify tool one for the first tool, the nc code stops and notifies me to change to tool one (G06 T1). If I use another tool later in the job, I don't get the G06...it just keeps right on going.

Here is the post. It's slightly modified for my machine, and was downloaded from turbocnc yahoo group, Made for turbocnc.

I renamed it to a txt file so I could upload it here.

You must mean an M06 not G06.

Here is the post I used when I was using CNCPro

Eric,

I updated the post for you.

The tool change line was in the psof (start of file) section ,but not in the ptlchng section (the post section for all subsequent changes.

A quick sample file posted ok.

Balsaman,

G06 M06 ... whatever it takes :)

Kinda like me " Volts Amps Whatever" ... thats the neat thing about this forum. The strengths of different members are being combined so that everybody is able to do much more ... much faster.
