I continue my appprentissage
I have a part with two reaming of 20 mm
diameter and 5 mm of depth
I make two operation of machining

1) Surfacing -1mm
2) Reaming

how to configure the parameters of the operation
reaming so that the machining of the hole starts in top of the part
-1 mm

The easiest is probably just to copy the reaming curves and move them down 1mm (Copy, paste, move). Then use the copied curves for the reaming op. VM doesn't have fantastic tools for working with contours (curves) at different depths than where they are drawn, the only other solution I have found is to get out your calculator. --ch
