May be the wrong pace to ask this on the board but here goes...

Can THK slides be dismantled and rebuilt? Specificly the SSR20 model.

I am thinking of buying used and do not want to be out of all my money if they arrive in less than perfect condition.

You could replace the balls, but if the ball races are damaged, you're out of luck.

Thanks - ah the joys of ebay. Can't ever get your hands on it till you get it.

Maybe I should just pony up and go new.
