So guys how do some of us handle our cables. My machine has a bunch that could foul movements. How to keep them organized. Also, home and limit switch wires, do the have to be user wired into the pins, added in by me?? Using Mach2/3. :confused: :confused:

As for home and limits, you can wire them directly to the pins, but you may need to use pull uyp resistors on them. A break out board makes it much easier.

i like the igus stuff too but more then i can afford right now .... so my cheap way out i use a plastic split condut and wire holders like you see in cars .... keeps all my wires together and moves with the gantry to flow with the machine movement

A good place to find Igus cable chain is ebay. I picked up a huge piece that was just what I needed for $20+ shipping. Try searching for cable chain,cable protector,cable track, wire way. You should come up with something.
