Anyone receive the new version yet? If so, What's some of the best changes?

Yes I had received FeatureCAM 2006. I had take a look on the Multi-Turret module and it a very nice module. It easy to use and fast.

I had see also some good think in the 3D.

FeatureCAM 2006 does not look to me like it's a major upgrade like past versions of FeatureCAM were. Still no road map announced as far as integration of FeatureCAM with DelCAM PowerShape / PowerMill.

That's good news, personally I wouldn't want integration with it ;)

well due to I was on Feature CAM 2005 for a short time, I dont see a big change, but we did upgrade to the Full Machine SIM program new for 2006, plan on doing everything on Solidworks 2006 and importing the machines into FeatureCAM with the mates.
Now if they can get the damn Security Program to Work with a 64Bit Xeon computer system, they had to give me a temp Network Dongel just to get my computer to work with featureCAM due to their Pro Computer Dongel dont work on 64bit Intel Chips, and they have been using me for their test rat, about to pack the program up and send it back if they dont get this fix, I refuse to be the test rat anymore.

Hey guys looking at many CAM programs on the net and trying to figure out what is the best way to go. I've been talking to another fellow who is using FeatureCAM and loves it. My need is mainly for composite mold parts and bucks. I am also building my first light duty mill so am a very new person at all of this. I work full time as a S-works modeler/ draftsman, and would like to expand to making parts and molds etc. Currently my mill is to be a 3 axis unit for full 3D machining however I would also like to move it up to a 5 axis later [ modular construction]. Some of my parts would lend themselves very well to using a full motion continuous movement 5 axis system. I'm wondering if FeatureCAM will do code for this or not? I would be happy with a positional 5th axis if thats the limitation however continuous movement would be a bonus. I will be using Mach3 for my control software after creating the code in FeathureCAM. Comments, idea's, suggestions.. etc. All apreciated.
