When exceeding the best feed while CNC routing Melamine sheet goods with particleboard cores ____ will occur signaling the need to adjust the feed down.
Can you help me with this? It's not a test. It's a quest for information.

On a large commercial machine, the only reason to slow the feed rate is if the quality of cut is not good enough. On a home built machine, the machine may flex too much at higher speeds, or the router (spindle) may not have enough power.
With melamine faced board, a poor cut will have chipping on the edges. Slowing down will not always correct this. Sometimes you need to use a sharper tool.
