I am looking for a mentor to help me get started. I live in Tempe, AZ. I am an IT professional by trade. Machining has always interested me, but I have no idea where to start. I thought I would do what I do when I want to learn a new IT related skill: Go find a mentor.

I am a fast learner. I am a hands on person. Usually I learn by doing.
