Hi there I am relitively new to cnc machines. I am 16 and have a very low income becuase of school. I am doing side jobs ect and am trying to save some money to get a good mini mill. Can anyone help me with info ect on a mill that will machine aluminum maximun 12' by 12' . I will primarily be using it to make custom 1/5 rc motorcycle parts. Can anyone build me one that I can link to my laptop or how do you program them? Please all info is needed@ Thanks Tim

First, I would do as much reading here as you can. Go to the DIY wood router section and have a look at some of the machines. learn as much as you can.
No minimill cuts 12x12. Maybe 4"x12" or 7"x27", since most mills have a rectangular table.
You program them using CAD and CAM software.

Hey Crisp
Thos classifieds that Rekd linked you to are VERY reasonably priced.
I don't want to burst your bubble (or sound rude) but you won't get any cheaper than that.
Sorry

12' x 12'....guess you meant inches.....none of the manual mills in the under $5K will handle a Y of 12 inches.....so, if you're in HS refine your requirements to some reasonable level and we'll help ya!
