We have an EZTrak Plus at work.......P/N 15722R Rev A, S/N EP-129-P4330. We are evaluating some cam software and would like to be able to post to this control. Can it be done? Is there a secret button sequence that will "switch" it into g code mode? We can save a program by RS232, and it looks like some conversational stuff but no standard G or M codes. I would assume somewhere in the background the control is using G codes for the real motion control.

Anyone have any experience with posting to this control?

Thanks......
Scott

It reads Gcode without doing anything special. Check in the manual. When you are in the file manager press F4 and see if TXT files are read.

How old is this machine? Is this the EZTRAK PLUS with NO CRT? Over 13 years old?

This is approximately 1989 vintage EZTRAK PLUS - no CRT, just a LED readout. I will try some simple G codes today and see what happens.

If it is the older SWI control I think you will be hosed.
