View Full Version : Nc-400 amplifers for sale? Bill Gillen 04-26-2005, 08:15 PM Just wondering if anyone has any Nc-400 contraves amplifers there willing to sale. Going into an 1983 Bridgeport series 1 R2E3 Boss 8. I need one for a spare. fastturbovet 05-04-2005, 12:49 AM Hi Bill I have three of them (known working) that I removed from a Boss 8 which another guy here retrofitted to a new control (since we wanted to do 3-axis movement, and because the LCD was broken, etc, etc). I am planning to put them up on eBay since I have zero idea what they are worth, but if all three are the same (I think they are, not specific to X, Y and Z) let me know what you think they are worth and I can ask the guys in the shop if they'd be willing to sell one/all before eBay'ing them? Thanks, Mike Bill Gillen 05-05-2005, 11:38 AM Thank you for the reply post. By the time I saw it, I had already bought two. I will be testing them as soon as they arrive here. Our experience with ebay is generally good, but we never know what our items will bring until we list them. I would suggest starting one at $50 and seeing what happens. What kind of retrofit did you do? Whose kit? The reason I am asking is that after we make sure everything is working fine with our mill (and learn what we are doing), we would like to retrofit it. Cold Fusion 07-05-2005, 05:22 PM How did these drives work? Are they step/dir? dfmiller 07-05-2005, 08:07 PM At the right price I might be interested in at two of the drives. Please contact me ofline if they are for sale still. dfmiller@telus.net DLMACHINE 07-06-2005, 08:30 PM If you still have the NC-400 drives for sale please e-mail me with the price I would be interested in buying them for spares.
