Hello,

I am looking for a post for a Fagor 8020 controller for a 3 axis mill. Would anyone have such a thing that would work with Pro/Engineer?

Thank you!

Maxim

Anyone?

A fagor 8025 would work as well too.

Why not just modify a fanuc post to work. They are very similar. Depending on how crazy you want the post to be.

This is all new to me. Don't even know where to begin to edit a post. Can someone help me ? I have a Fagor post in my Mc9 but t gives me the error "c:\mcam9\chooks\fagorm.dll not found" when I try to use it.

Most cad/cam companies have working posts for Fagor CNC Controls, thus just contact your cad/cam dealer and ask them about a Fagor post. Of course, the type of machine you have can effect the usefullness of your post.

As a useful note, the Fagor 800, 8010, 8020 and 8025 all share the same programming code, thus they are basically identical. (ISO standard G-code),

However, as you can imagine, the 8025 has more capability than the 8020, and the 8020 more than the 8010, thus some posts designed for the 8025 will have some features that were not available with the older controls.

good luck !
