They have online training for about $125/session.
Hi all. I'm completely new to Alphacam and the only experience I've had with these types of programs would be solidworks for the modeling. Are they any PDF guides or tutorials in PDF format that could assist me in the learning aspect of it. I only really deal with turning (lathes) but even something simple as drawing in 2D with alphacam would be greatly helpful.
Reading older posts people say they have downloadable content on their website located: Alphacam Support
however this has expired and no longer works.
Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

If you are supported you should be able to download some training material from the portal.
Alphacam also do some good classes in every aspect of Alphacam, just speak to your sales rep.
You also might be able to find something of use here - AlphacamVero - YouTube
The online training I think would be a waste of money for just the simple things I can get from a tutorial, also I am supported but won't be able to get any tutorials till Monday and was hoping to read up the material over the weekend.
Have you looked on Youtube???
Yea, I have yet to find anything helpful
These might be good starting points
Just a little encouragement. I have not used alphacam for about 4 years. When I did use it I loved it. If you have ever used autocad or mastercam you should find it fairly easy to pick up on the drawing side. Every few years I learn a new cad or cam program and what I have seen is they only differ in the names they use for each tool and the icons. A spline, line, arc, fillet, chamfer ,line etc are always the same. Remembering the new icons and there locations (which you can change for your needs) takes the longest to remember. The best way to learn is to spend a few days doodling in the program. Learn where all the basic commands that are universal are located and the procedures to execute them. The rest you'll find as you need. If you are around someone who uses the program learn what you can from them. If they can't help you with a issue use the help file every program has as its really the best resource available. I don't know how many times I've asked seasoned users how to do something and get the reply it can't do that. Almost always after a little time in the help file I find it can do exactly that. Have fun.

Hi Austin,
very little help on AlphaCAM out there. If you need help with it I can offer to show you what I know for free.
I have used AlphaCAM for more than 10 years. Ask what you need to know and I try to answer it.
Glad to help :-)
Have you seen cadcamlessons.com?
This is my Alphacam tutorial from scratch. Simple, but I think it could be useful sometimes.
Especially there is very little material available in the internet...
